Since joining the company in 1991, Mark has served in many capacities from Outpatient Therapist, Teacher and Van Driver to Program Coordinator and Director of Alternative Education.
In 2000, Mark completed a Masters Degree in Secondary School Counseling at Shippensburg University and in 2003 completed a certification in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy from the William Glasser Institute. From 2003 to 2013, he held the credential of Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania until becoming CEO of the organization. In March of 2016, Mark became a certified independent John Maxwell Leadership Coach.
Positively influencing others through mentoring, counseling and coaching has been a calling and passion for Mark for over 30 years. Having a small part in the forward shift in people’s lives has been an incredible reward. Now as CEO, Mark views staff and leadership development as the next step in his personal and professional journey, to impact the lives of others both within and outside of the company.
Mark has been married to the love of his life, Robyn, for 27 years. Their greatest blessing is time spent with their 2 daughters and with family. Mark’s Christian faith has been a lighthouse showing the way forward through his personal and professional life. When personal down time does occur, Mark enjoys golfing and fishing.
Michelle has been working in the accounting field since graduation from FSU in 1993. She began working in Public Accounting for approximately 5 years, and then worked as a Business Manager at WHAG TV in Hagerstown, MD for 11 years. She then worked at a Hospital and at a Manufacturing facility for a few years before coming to Folium in 2

Michelle loves what she does here at Folium. She feels very fortunate to be able to work with a wonderful group of people who are so knowledgeable and admires how much they are helping other improve the quality of their lives. We have spent the last three years identifying where we can save on expenses and maximize revenue. Michelle's job is different every day and she thinks the company has so much potential. Our opportunities are endless and Michelle is excited to see what the future holds for the Company!
Paul has been providing direct care and program supervision at Laurel Life since 2005. Paul currently directs community based mental health programs and Transition Classrooms across much of South-Central Pennsylvania. Paul currently directs community based mental health programs and Transition Classrooms across much of South-Central Pennsylvania. Trauma Informed Care and Brain Science Resiliency are passions of Paul’s. Much of his focus within the organization is to implement engagement strategies and training procedures in Evidence Based Practices that work!
While not at his full time job, Paul serves on the Advisory Board for Messiah College’s Counseling Department and is an Adjunct Professor at Wilson College. A member of Laurel Life’s CoreTIC team, Paul has been instrumental in developing trauma informed care policy, procedures, and staff development at every level of the organization.
Paul enjoys sharing his passion of Trauma Informed Care and has presented to dozens of school districts across Pennsylvania and Maryland, colleges, government agencies, and private institutions. Also numerous professional conferences: PA Middle School Conference, PA Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth Conference, Safe Schools Conference, Penn State Wellness Conference and Child Trauma and Injury Prevention Conference. Paul was featured as the Keynote speaker at the Western Maryland School Psychologist Conference and the Penn State PRO Wellness Community Day.
Paul resides in York, PA with his loving wife Kristin and their three beautiful daughters.
Lindsey has worked in the counseling and behavioral health field for over 15 years. Lindsey joined the company in 2004 as a TSS and then transitioned into various roles including: BSC, MT, School Counselor, and Outpatient Therapist.
Lindsey is a member of the Core TIC team and is building the agency’s expertise in providing ABA services.

Lindsey is a member of the Core TIC team and is building the agency’s expertise in providing ABA services. She obtained her bachelors degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University in 2004 and her masters degree from Shippensburg University in Elementary School Counseling in 2007. She completed a post masters certificate program in Couples and Family therapy in 2009. Lindsey is credentialed with multiple insurance companies.
Lindsey has worked extensively with children and their families providing services in home, school, and community locations. Lindsey works with individuals to overcome and cope with challenges facing them. She believes that with consistent support, understanding and guidance clients can overcome and make positive changes. Lindsey specializes in working with families and the educational community in the areas of behavioral consultation, group therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and play therapy.
Bruce started part-time with the organization in 1994. Upon completion of his Administration of Justice Degree through Penn State University, he started full-time in the York County Day Treatment Program’s Evening Program as a Direct Care Worker. Later he transitioned to the Day Treatment Program as a Life Skills Instructor, then Team L
Bruce started part-time with the organization in 1994. Upon completion of his Administration of Justice Degree through Penn State University, he started full-time in the York County Day Treatment Program’s Evening Program as a Direct Care Worker. Later he transitioned to the Day Treatment Program as a Life Skills Instructor, then Team Leader, Counselor, and eventually Program Coordinator overseeing the day to day to operations of the York County Day Treatment Program, which included supervision of several Professional Staff and 100+ students on any given day.
In 2003, Bruce accomplished his M.B.A. through Frostburg State University. In 2008, Bruce transitioned to Cumberland County to be the Program Coordinator of the Cumberland Therapeutic Education Program. From about 2009 until 2022, Bruce fulfilled various organizational administrative duties that eventually led to his position as the Director of Human Resources. In 2022, he was promoted to Director of Mission Support Services.
