About Us

Folium delivers a network of specialized services with a foundation of trauma-informed interventions rooted in brain science.

Folium, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to serving individuals experiencing adversity. Our Mission is powerfully simple: Easing Adversity, Inspiring Growth. We accomplish this through a network of specialized services delivered by dedicated professionals with expertise in brain-based resiliency, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices. Our name, Folium, is described as a leaf-like structure in the brain – a name that captures not only our iconography but also our treatment philosophy of trauma-informed interventions rooted in brain science.

Folium, Inc. is the parent corporation for the business divisions and trade names that form our network of specialized services. Laurel Life provides behavioral health services; Affinity Educational Solutions provides a range of cyber-supported educational programs; Mill Road Adventures offers adventure-based learning opportunities; and Rolling Hills Transit serves students who require customized transportation for school.
