Dr. Blanchet practiced family medicine and dermatology until he retired from medicine in 2016. He practiced full scope primary care for 28 years at Mont Alto Family Practice, in rural North Carolina and dermatology in Waynesboro. He served in the commissioned corps of the US Public Service on the Ojibwa reservation in Red Lake Minnesota, and also served at the Maluti Hospital in Lesotho, Africa practicing obstetrics, medicine, and surgery. Dr. Blanchet earned a BA in philosophy from Haverford College, and his MD from Tufts University in Boston. A member of the Folium Board of Directors since 2001 and chairman of the board since May 2017, he had previously served as Chair of the Operations committee and the Behavioral Health Committee, as vice chair of the board, and as a member of the finance committee. He has served on other boards in the Waynesboro area including committees within Summitt Health, the Cumberland Valley Health Network, Health Central and the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians. He is politically active in his community and at the state level.
Bob has been a dentist in Waynesboro, PA since 1977. He has been on the Board of Folium, since the Board was formed in 1979. His experience with the population served by Folium began while he was in college and volunteered at George Junior Republic in Grove City, Pa. This was a residential facility for adjudicated delinquents. From 1973 to 1977, Bob and his wife were house-parents at Presbyterian Children's Village. They parented nine to eleven boys 12 to 15 who were dependent neglected youth placed by the court due to abuse and /or neglect by their parents. Bob serves as chair of the Finance Committee and is currently the Secretary and Treasurer.
Jim Stein is an attorney with DSS Law in Waynesboro, Greencastle and McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. He handles all types of litigation, including contract and business disputes, personal injury cases, and estate disputes. He is also experienced in alternative methods of resolution, such as arbitration and mediation. In addition to the Folium board, Jim is the president of the board for the Waynesboro Area YMCA. He is a past president of the Waynesboro Rotary Club and the past president for the Waynesboro Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also taught criminal justice at Penn State University-Mont Alto campus. Jim lives in Waynesboro with his wife, Amy, and their two sons.
Troy is an Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in the public accounting field. He specializes in tax preparation for individuals, businesses and non-profits. Troy holds a B.S. in Accounting from Shippensburg University and consults with clients for tax planning. QuickBooks assistance, business startup and choosing the proper entity. Troy sat on the prior Transportation Board of Directors for over 10 years and has just recently became a member of the Folium Board of Directors and sets on the Finance sub-committee.
Angela has worked for Franklin County Juvenile Probation for almost 20 years. She is currently a supervisor and has had that role for a number of years. Although no longer working directly with youth and families, she still maintains insight into the current trends when dealing with this population. Angela holds a B.S. in Psychology from Waynesboro College. Angel s has been a member of the Folium Board of Directors since 2015, she is a member of the Human Resources sub-committee.
Matt is a Marketing Executive with more than a decade of experience using data-informed strategies to craft progressive advertising models in the retail industry. His cross-platform business acumen spans Merchandising, Operations, Info&Tech, and Finance. Matt holds a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech and is a frequent consultant for partner brands and complementary industries with regard to marketing platforms and strategy. A member of the Folium Board of Directors since 2015, Matt's chairs the Marketing sub-committee and aids the organization in its efforts to grow and strengthen ties with the community.
Dr. Eric C. Michael comes to Wilson with 35 years’ experience in Public Education. His career has spanned a wide range of educational experiences. He has served as; 1st grade teacher, 5th grade teacher, 7th grade science teacher , Middle School Assistant Principal, High School Assistant and Principal, Assistant Superintendent overseeing Curriculum and Instruction, Pupil Services, Special Education, Technology and Elementary and Secondary Services. His higher education experience includes adjunct professor for Wilson College, Duquesne University, Shippensburg University and Wilkes University. He has presented nationally for the Pennsylvania Department of Education and at Math and Reading conventions.
Dr. Michael teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in addition to overseeing The Masters of Education Program.
He continues to remain active in the Chambersburg Community by serving on YMCA Board of Directors, Folium Board of Directors, Chambersburg Rotary (Paul Harris Fellow) and lives in Chambersburg with his wife Sharon and daughter Chelsey.
John is a school psychologist with 30 years of experience. For the past 27 years, he has worked for the Chambersburg School District and, prior to that, he worked at a local intermediate unit for 3 years. John obtained his M.S. and state certification in School Psychology at California University of Pennsylvania. As an undergrad, John resided at St. Paul Seminary in Pittsburgh while earning his B.A. in Philosophy from Duquesne University. On a career path of becoming a catholic priest, John then attended Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora, N.Y. After two years there, John decided to pursue a career in school psychology. This past summer, John and his wife Claudia celebrated 27 years of marriage. They have three beautiful and talented daughters. John enjoys keeping up with current events, gardening, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and most of all, attending his daughters music recitals and soccer matches (at Fairmont University and Cal U).
Butch is a retired U.S. Government Senior IT/Infrastructure and Project Team Leader and Government Consultant. He also is retired from the U.S. Army with 28 years of service. While in the Army he was a Senior NCO and IT Project Leader, Aviation Program Designer. Butch taught K4-6 Basic Computer at Cumberland Valley Christian School for 5 years and he now currently owns TechSource IT.
He attended George Washington University and completed his Associate Degree in Project Management and he then attended Payne University where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. Butch is certified in Dell Softskills, Dell Workstation (Level I and II), and has a Computer Network Certification for Franklin County Career Technology.
Cindy was born in Vallejo, CA. and moved at a very young age to Toledo, Ohio where her family lived for eight years after which they moved to Chambersburg, PA where they have lived ever since. Cindy is married with three adult children and three grandchildren. She is an avid Penn State football season ticket holder and golfer. She enjoys painting and reading during leisure time. She owns a second home on a very remote island on the Chesapeake Bay near Cambridge, MD where she has found her Happy Place to be. Cindy loves to crab, fish, and enjoy incredible sunsets with family and friends .
Cindy is a graduate of Shippensburg University where she earned a BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math. She also received a Masters in Elementary Education .Cindy is a retired teacher from Chambersburg Area School District. She taught fourth grade for nine years, fifth grade for twenty-one years, and ended her career as an Elementary Math Coach. Cindy served as Head Teacher for 30 years of her career. She piloted the Inclusion Program for the district in her building. She also piloted Power Teaching in her building. Cindy was an adjunct professor at Shippensburg University where she taught Classroom Management K-12. She was an adjunct professor at Wilson College where she taught Math Methods and Computer Usage K-8. She served as a co-operating teacher for both Shippensburg University and Wilson College for well over 30 students. After her retirement, she served as a Student Teacher College Supervisor for several students.
Cindy's love of education has brought her to this board. She hopes to help support the teachers that are currently employed by Folium in any compacity they feel is needed.
Jodi Delaney has worked in Fintech Payments for 25 years, and most recently is a Director at Fiserv. Jodi has experience in management roles across IT operations, business continuity, account management, vendor management, audit, and project management.
While not working or volunteering, Jodi enjoys traveling, hiking, and time at the lake with her family.
